The intersection of the district heating network with the provincial road and the water barrier has an impact on each other due to their parallel alignment. The goal of the project is to determine the best execution method for the crossing of these two structures.
We have utilized our experience in execution and our expertise in trenchless techniques to assess the applicability of execution methods. For this, we have identified the risks for the structures and examined the technical possibilities.
Through the comparison of execution methods, we have outlined the possibilities for the crossing of the provincial road and the water barrier. The comparison has also clarified the impact of the crossing method on the structures. As a result, the permitting authorities understand the choice of the execution technique.
