The goal
The objective of the project is to obtain a feasible design for 8 HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) bores at 3 locations for the purpose of cabling three high-voltage towers.
Our services
Barcelona Engineering have designed the 8 HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) bores for the three locations. During the design phase, we optimized the drill string by calculating bore fluid pressures and pulling forces. In this design, we have minimized and clearly documented the risks in a comprehensive drilling plan.
The result
The outcome of the assignment comprises 8 feasible drilling profiles for the HDDs. The feasibility and associated risks have been further substantiated and elaborated upon through the development of the D-Geo Pipeline calculation and the drilling plan.
